Hurricane Florence - Court Closure
Hurricane Florence made landfall at 7:15 a.m. EDT near Wrightsville Beach, NC. Our thoughts are with all of those who may be affected. Reports indicate the storm may linger along the coast of North and South Carolina. Please stay safe and dry.
Due to the extreme weather, ETAs will be affected for several states on the east coast because of business and court closures and mandatory or voluntary evacuations. The following courts will be closed beginning today:
Virginia: Accomack, Brunswick, Chesapeake, Greensville, Hampton, Isle of Wight, Newport News, Norfolk, Northampton, Portsmouth, Powhatan, Southampton, Suffolk, Surry, Virginia Beach
South Carolina: Barnwell, Beaufort, Berkeley, Calhoun, Charleston, Chester, Chesterfield, Clarendon, Colleton, Darlington, Dillon, Dorchester, Fairfield, Florence, Georgetown, Hampton, Horry, Jasper, Kershaw, Lee, Marion, Marlboro, Orangeburg, Richland, Sumter, and Williamsburg.
North Carolina: Alamance, Anson, Beaufort, Bertie, Bladen, Brunswick, Camden, Carteret, Chatham, Chowan, Columbus, Craven, Cumberland, Currituck, Dare, Davidson, Duplin, Durham, Edgecombe, Forsyth, Franklin, Gates, Granville, Greene, Guilford, Halifax, Harnett, Hertford, Hoke, Hyde, Johnston, Jones, Lee, Lenoir, Martin, Mecklenburg, Montgomery, Moore, Nash, New Hanover, Northampton, Onslow, Orange, Pamlico, Pasquotank, Pender, Perquimans, Person, Pitt, Randolph, Richmond, Robeson, Rockingham, Sampson, Scotland, Stokes, Surry, Tyrell, Union, Vance, Wake, Warren, Washington, Wayne, Wilkes, Wilson.
